Without your support, this type of event would not have been possible.

Despite the challenging weather, the 2023 Music in the Park Series was well received by the Ira Township residents and visitors! There were families and groups of all ages attending the events. Children were enjoying the play equipment while parents relaxed and enjoyed the live music. Disc golfers popped in and took a break to enjoy the music!

We love meeting all the new friends these programs bring to the park!

We especially enjoy seeing ML Chartier volunteer crew at our events. They provided fresh popcorn and treats. On Aug. 11, they surprised everyone with pizza and pop!

Thank you to Ira Township Fire Department for allowing us to use the fire hall for our rain location!

Additionally, it’s hard to believe another great season of Algonac Clay Music in the Parks has come to an end!

In 2013, Algonac and Clay Township partnered to revive the former Downriver Recreation Commission Summer Concert Series. Algonac and Clay provided seed money. Community sponsors came on board, and it has been growing ever since!

ML Chartier has been our title sponsor for seven years. This community commitment has allowed us to maintain our series at 10 full weeks of live music in our beautiful community parks.

For the third year, Amiels Enterprises Inc. and Algonac Chiropractic Family Wellness Center have sponsored the County Stage for the Algonac locations. Clay Township DDA sponsors the stage in Clay Township Park for the fourth year! These contributions help provide quality sound and performances for each band performance.

Once again, Mark and Marliss Thompson have generously sponsored the handicapped porta john for the Algonac dates. All our audiences are appreciative of this convenience in downtown Algonac!
