If you, like many players, are on the lookout for this new track, it won't come easily. You'll need to engage in a little archeology in order to find it. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about where to look for this disc, how to get it, and how to use it. Whether you're an ardent user of the game's jukebox or you simply want to sniff out an in-game rarity, here's how to do it in this fun cozy title.
The only way to get the Relic disc is through the new Archeology mechanic. It drops as a possible reward when using the Brush on Suspicious Gravel from Trail Ruins.
Trail Ruins are found underground, with only the top of the tower visible. They can spawn in the following biomes:
It appears that most Trail Ruins points of interest spawn near water, such as a river, lake, or ocean. For the best chances of finding one, follow the coast in one of the above biomes.
The easiest way to spot Trail ruins is by the terracotta and stone brick blocks visible from the surface, but to reach the majority of the ruins you will need to dig down. It's not as Peaceful down there as you might think.
Eventually, you will drop into a hallway-like structure made of stone, cobblestone, and stone bricks. This is the trail.

After finding a Trail Ruins location, you will need to excavate Suspicious Gravel along the trail with the game's Archeology Brush. To do so:
Suspicious Sand and Gravel are very fragile. It will disappear if mined, or if the block under it is destroyed. In this case, the block's reward is lost.
There are two types of Suspicious Gravel blocks in Minecraft: standard and rare. There is currently no known way to tell the difference between the two. Each Trail Ruin contains a mix of both types, but the Relic disc can only drop from the rare Suspicious Gravel blocks.
There is about a 10% chance to obtain a Relic disc from a rare block of Suspicious Gravel, and each ruin has several of the desired block types. You can expect to find at least one Relic disc per Trail Ruin that is completely excavated. Not finding one is very unfortunate luck, and the best course of action is just to try again with another Trail Ruin.
